The Mountain View Talent Writers Retreat

The Mountain View Talent Writers Retreat brings together some of the best talent in Independent Country Music. Artists from all over the country gather to relax, unwind and create. Artists that participate in our booking, management and recording programs are heavily favored. In addition, tentative prospects, industry friends and collaborators may attend on occasion. This event is by invite only. 

The Mountain View Talent Writers Retreat seeks to provide an environment where creativity comes natural.  Luxury accommodations and a relaxed schedule provide ample opportunities to wind down and socialize. 

Daily break out sessions provide formatted time to write music, create social media content, discuss business strategy and plan for future growth. Nightly jam sessions allow musicians to showcase their talents surrounded by industry peers. "Iron sharpens Iron".

When logistics allow, professional photographers, videographers, social media experts and others are on site to provide the attendees with professional content, knowledge and strategy.

Facing outward, attendees will share social media followings with multiple tags and posts. The Retreat will culminate in a live streaming “jam concert", shared to all of their social media accounts, across multiple platforms. The goal is simple: Create exposure for those involved and shine a light on the talent that is available. 

The Fall 2024 Retreat will be held September 29 - October 2nd, 2024! 

For the Fall Retreat, we've chosen the luxury Timer Lake Loge. Situated on 40 private acres and lakefront on Nolin River lake, it's sure to be the perfect location for relaxation and creativity!

Artists:  Unsigned, unrepresented artists are welcome to submit their EPK, complete with live performance video of their original songs to chris@mountainviewtalent.com.  Add "Writers Retreat Application" to the subject line. Artists with current management are encouraged to request collaborations with Mountain View Artists to be considered for invitation.
